Kazakhstan's copper production increased 2.9% YoY, while refined zinc production decreased 8.2% YoY from January to March this year.

On Thursday, April 17, data released by the Kazakhstan Bureau of Statistics showed that the country's refined copper production from January to March increased by 2.9% YoY to 123,789 mt. The country's refined copper production in March was 42,119 mt, higher than the 39,001 mt recorded in February. The data also revealed that the country's refined zinc production from January to March was 61,545 mt, down 8.2% YoY. The production of unprocessed aluminum and alumina from January to March was 447,432 mt, down 3.5% YoY.
