This system employs a rigorous, transparent, and comprehensive methodology to evaluate companies across various segments of the new energy sector, aiming to set benchmarks for excellence in the industry.

The new energy industry is rapidly evolving, but market information is fragmented, corporate strength is difficult to quantify, and supply chain credibility is questionable. SMM Tier 1, with "transparent methodology + independent audit" at its core, establishes "globally comparable" industry benchmarks for segments such as ESS, sodium-ion battery, and lithium battery materials, aiding in precise capital decision-making, efficient industry collaboration, and the manifestation of technological value.

After extensive field trips to assess companies' basic data, such as capacity layout, production scale, order delivery (directly sourced from SMM's industry database), and technological investment, and introducing third-party institutions (such as Dun & Bradstreet, SGS, etc.) to verify data authenticity, ensuring the list is "zero water content," SMM selected the "2025 SMM Global Tier 1 User-Side ESS Integration List" and held a grand award ceremony during the banquet of the 2025 (10th) New Energy Industry Expo, hosted by SMM Information & Technology Co., Ltd. (SMM).

Tianqi Lithium has determined that continuing construction on this project is "economically unviable” and thus terminate the development of the Phase II of Kwinana's Lithium Hydroxide Project in Australia, an investment of RMB 1.412 billion, representing 2.74% of the company’s audited net assets for the previous fiscal year.
