Above-standard #553 silicon was at 9,800-10,000 yuan/mt, down 50 yuan/mt from the previous day, while 441 silicon was at 10,200-10,400 yuan/mt, unchanged from the previous day. In the past two days, the main futures contract 2505 continued its downward trend, with the low price falling below 9,000 yuan/mt. Traders mostly purchased spot cargoes, and silicon companies' quotations were basically stable, making transactions difficult.
