According to SMM, the premiums and discounts for spot cash national standard silver ingot warrants TD in Shanghai today were quoted at +4 to +6 yuan/kg, while the premiums for large smelter silver ingots TD were +6 to +8 yuan/kg, or a discount of 7-10 yuan/kg against the SHFE silver 2506 contract. Some traders were reluctant to sell large smelter silver ingots with premiums of 9-10 yuan/kg against TD, resulting in very few transactions. After the most-traded SHFE silver contract weakened in the second trading session, market transactions significantly slowed down, and some smelters slightly lowered their premiums. The supply of circulating goods in the market remained tight, and overall market transactions were sluggish. View SMM precious metals spot prices.
