Daily Average Crude Steel Production of Key Steel Enterprises in Early April Rose MoM
According to statistics from the China Iron and Steel Association, the daily average pig iron production of key steel enterprises in early April 2025 was 1.952 million mt, up 4.0% MoM and 2.4% YoY. The daily average crude steel production of key steel enterprises in early April 2025 was 2.197 million mt, up 3.4% MoM and 4.0% YoY. The daily average steel product production of key steel enterprises in early April 2025 was 2.045 million mt, down 5.3% MoM and up 3.5% YoY.
The steel product inventory of key steel enterprises in early April 2025 was 16.04 million mt, an increase of 810,000 mt, or 5.3% MoM. It decreased by 200,000 mt, or 1.2%, compared with the same period last month, and decreased by 2.21 million mt, or 12.1%, compared with the same period last year.
