On April 14, the tender announcement for the EPC project of Anhui Huamao's 13.48MW/55.09MWh energy storage project was released. The bid inviter is Anqing Xianeng New Energy Co., Ltd., and the project is located within the Anqing Huamao Second Industrial Park in Yixiu District, Anqing City, Anhui Province. The project is expected to have a total scale of 13.48MW/55.09MWh (the actual construction scale will be subject to the approval or filing by the competent authority), and will adopt the "self-storage and self-use, no excess electricity to the grid" mode. The energy storage form of this project is LFP electrochemical energy storage, using a prefabricated cabin-type ESS power station. Each energy storage system includes a battery cabin, a PCS step-up integrated cabin, a 10kV primary equipment cabin, and a secondary cabin (shared). The energy storage systems are connected to the 10kV bus of the substation in the factory, without changing the original transformer capacity and power supply and distribution structure. The standard battery cabin is a 20-foot standard container, with battery cells of 314Ah, and the battery cabin capacity comes in four types: 5MWh, 4.18MWh, 3.34MWh, and 2.51MWh. The bidirectional converter PCS and step-up transformer are combined into a PCS integrated cabin. Bidders are required to have at least one EPC or construction or design contract performance of 100MWh or above in scale since January 1, 2022.
