During the period of April 7–11, new developments in the battery recycling sector have emerged across multiple regions:

  1. Anhui Province

    • A 10,000-ton lithium iron phosphate battery cathode sheet recycling project has progressed to its public consultation phase. The facility will utilize advanced pyrolysis, magnetic separation, and gas treatment systems to establish an eco-friendly production line.

  2. Jiangxi Province

    • A new energy storage materials project entered its environmental assessment phase. The initiative focuses on processing spent ternary lithium batteries and electrode materials through hydrometallurgical technologies to produce high-value outputs like refined nickel, cobalt, and copper foil.

  3. Gansu Province

    • Construction has commenced on a 40,000-ton lithium battery recycling facility aimed at zero-carbon resource regeneration.

  4. Inner Mongolia

    • A dual-purpose project to recycle 5,000 tons of batteries and 1,000 tons of waste lubricants annually has initiated a social risk assessment.

  5. Shaanxi Province

    • A strategic agreement was finalized for a 108-million-yuan EV battery recycling project, with its first phase set to launch within 12 months.

  6. Guangdong Province

    • Approval processes are underway for the second phase of a lithium battery material recycling facility, which will expand total annual capacity to 82,000 tons.

  7. Zhejiang Province

    • An environmental assessment was released for a facility targeting the annual dismantling of 30,000 end-of-life vehicles and processing of 153,600 tons of retired EV batteries.

  8. Anhui Province (Additional Project)

    • A 75,000-ton lithium battery material recycling project entered its public consultation phase, featuring dedicated lines for battery dismantling and electrode processing.

  9. Solid-State Battery Development

    • A subsidiary company announced plans to invest 1.2 billion yuan in a solid-state battery core materials production line, with infrastructure costs accounting for 870 million yuan.
