SMM April 11 News:
Rare Earth Ore
Prices: Rare earth carbonate prices were around 35,000 yuan/mt, monazite prices were around 42,500 yuan/mt, and medium-yttrium, europium-rich ore prices were around 189,000 yuan/mt.
Supply and Demand: Currently, suppliers in the rare earth ore sector are heavily in a wait-and-see mode, with low actual willingness to sell, and rare earth ore prices remain relatively stable.
Rare Earth Oxides
Prices: The quotation range for Pr-Nd oxide was around 430,000-432,000 yuan/mt, the mainstream quotation range for dysprosium oxide was 1.68-1.7 million yuan/mt, and terbium oxide prices were adjusted to around 7.1-7.2 million yuan/mt.
Supply and Demand: Yesterday, medium-heavy rare earth prices still experienced some upward movement, but as the weekend approached, the activity of suppliers actively quoting prices declined, market trading volume was low, and most industry participants remained heavily in a wait-and-see mode.
Rare Earth Metals
Prices: The mainstream quotation range for Pr-Nd alloy was 530,000-535,000 yuan/mt, dysprosium-iron alloy prices were around 1.63-1.65 million yuan/mt, and terbium metal prices were around 8.8-8.85 million yuan/mt.
Supply and Demand: With medium-heavy rare earth oxide prices relatively high, metal plants also quoted relatively high prices for dysprosium-iron alloy and terbium metal. Pr-Nd alloy market quotations were relatively weak, with suppliers mostly in a wait-and-see mode, and a few traders offering low-priced sources.
NdFeB Blank
Prices: NdFeB blank N38 (Ce) was quoted at 145-155 yuan/kg; NdFeB blank 40M was quoted at 191-201 yuan/kg; NdFeB blank 40H was quoted at 195-205 yuan/kg; NdFeB blank 45SH (ce) was quoted at 245-265 yuan/kg.
Supply and Demand: Yesterday, rare earth prices continued to show a fluctuating trend. The focus of the magnetic materials market remained on the procurement of medium-heavy rare earths. However, overall market procurement enthusiasm gradually cooled, and trading volume decreased compared to earlier in the week.
NdFeB Scrap
Prices: Pr-Nd recycled from NdFeB scrap was quoted at 457-465 yuan/kg; dysprosium recycled from NdFeB scrap was quoted at 1,613-1,635 yuan/kg; terbium recycled from NdFeB scrap was quoted at 5,287-5,341 yuan/kg.
Supply and Demand: Yesterday, scrap market prices continued to be affected by fluctuations in oxide prices. Currently, market inquiries are gradually decreasing, and procurement enthusiasm has also cooled. Further observation is needed for future market trends.
