【Yunrongqi and Qualcomm Announce Cooperation】On April 9, it was reported that Yunrongqi and Qualcomm Technologies announced a technical cooperation on April 8. They will jointly develop several high-level intelligent driving solutions supporting ADAS/AD functions based on the Snapdragon Ride platform (SA8650). These solutions will include both lidar-based and pure vision-based solutions, capable of supporting advanced intelligent driving functions such as urban NOA, highway NOA, and automatic parking, and can be adapted to both fuel and new energy vehicles.
The two parties will optimize the end-to-end (E2E) bird's-eye view (BEV) and Transformer AI models on the Snapdragon Ride platform to simulate the human neural network, enabling the intelligent driving system to more naturally understand the traffic environment and driving logic. The end-to-end model architecture helps the intelligent driving system understand human driving culture, for example, in the case of road construction blockages, it can analyze the road conditions in real-time and execute strategies for borrowing lanes. In terms of safety, Yunrongqi has optimized the algorithms under complex lighting conditions such as strong light, dark light, and backlight, enhancing the perception ability of the pure vision solution in extreme environments.
