【SAIC Group and OPPO Sign Deepened Strategic Cooperation Agreement】On April 9, SAIC Group and OPPO officially announced that they had recently signed a deepened strategic cooperation agreement. Building on the initial realization of software interoperability and ecological integration between car and mobile devices, they will further connect various scenarios such as home, travel, and office. They aim to provide users worldwide with a continuous, complete, and flexible intelligent life experience that follows the user and represents Chinese smart manufacturing as a "new business card for going global."
According to the plan, the car-device integration products of SAIC and OPPO will be fully implemented in SAIC's self-owned and joint-venture brand models in the future. The cooperation between the two parties will expand from car-device cooperation to OT ecological cooperation, including but not limited to watches, tablets, and headphones. The cooperation will also extend from the Chinese market to the global market, including but not limited to Europe, Southeast Asia, India, South America, and the Middle East.

In January, national passenger car producers' new energy wholesale estimates reached 900,000 units, up 1% YoY.

According to the latest data from the Passenger Car Association, in December 2025, producers with new energy wholesale sales exceeding 10,000 units accounted for 93% of the total wholesale sales of passenger NEVs that month. Based on preliminary January data, these producers achieved sales of 830,000 units in January. Canada Announces New EV Strategy, to Collaborate with China

According to CCTV News, on February 5, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney announced a new electric vehicle strategy, including the reinstatement of car purchase subsidies, and stated that Canada will cooperate with China to promote the local production and export of EVs in Canada.
