Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese new energy vehicle maker Leapmotor announced on April 10 that its cumulative vehicle deliveries have exceeded 700,000 units. The company's current product lineup includes the T03, C10, C11, C16, and C01.

Among them, the C10 has emerged as a key contributor. As of early April, the model reached 100,000 units in cumulative deliveries within just one year on the market, with a record 12,000-unit monthly delivery achieved in March alone, which accounted for 32% of Leapmotor's sales in the month.

Officially released onto the market in March 2023, the Leapmotor C10 is offered in seven variants—four battery-electric vehicle (BEV) versions priced between 128,800 yuan and 168,800 yuan with up to 530 km range, and three range-extended electric vehicle (REEV) versions priced between 135,800 yuan and 165,800 yuan with 210 km of battery-powered range and 1,190 km of combined range.

On April 10, Leapmotor also put the B10, the first global model under its new B series, onto the market. The compact all-electric SUV is available in five variants with CLTC ranges of 510 km or 600 km, priced between 99,800 yuan and 129,800 yuan. The model features LiDAR and dual Qualcomm flagship chips in higher-spec trims and supports free OTA software updates.

In 2024, Leapmotor reported revenue of 32.16 billion yuan and a record gross margin of 8.4%. In the fourth quarter alone, average monthly deliveries of the company surpassed 40,000 units and gross margin reached 13.3%, enabling Leapmotor to achieve quarterly profitability ahead of schedule.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
