Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On April 9, Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) brand VOYAH announced the rollout of its 200,000th vehicle, marking a significant production milestone for the company.

Founded in April 2019, VOYAH was the first NEV brand launched by Dongfeng Motor. The company has built a diversified product lineup comprising the FREE SUV, the Dreamer MPV, the Passion sedan, and the Courage SUV, achieving a strategic product roadmap of "three categories in three years, four models in four years."

According to public data, VOYAH reached its first 10,000-unit production milestone in January 2022—just 553 days after its brand launch. By 2023, it had achieved seven consecutive months of sales growth, with annual deliveries surpassing 50,000 units. It then doubled its total output from 100,000 to 200,000 units within just 12 months.

Looking ahead, VOYAH's CEO Lu Fang previously stated that VOYAH will go "all in" on intelligent technology development in 2024, with its entire product lineup set to adopt Huawei's Qiankun intelligent driving system across MPVs, SUVs, and sedans. The company also plans to launch more than four new models this year, with an ambitious annual sales target of 200,000 units.

In parallel with these goals, VOYAH is accelerating the integration of its in-house developed smart technologies. Its latest model, the VOYAH Courage, features the proprietary Xiaoyao smart cockpit, equipped with the 15.05-inch OLED curved sliding screen and powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip, delivering smoother in-car interactions.

On the intelligent driving front, the VOYAH Courage is equipped with the brand's self-developed Kunpeng L2.9 driver assistance system, enabling functions such as autonomous highway merging and exiting, lane changes, side-by-side collision avoidance, and edge-of-road evasion. Its advanced parking system supports full-scenario remote parking, automated parking, reverse path tracking, and remote vehicle repositioning.

In terms of sales performance, VOYAH delivered 10,012 vehicles in March 2025, up 64% year-on-year, with first-quarter cumulative sales reaching 26,034 units—a 59% surge from the same period last year.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
