Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On April 8, Li Auto announced that cumulative deliveries of its Li L6 model have exceeded 240,000 units.

The milestone comes less than two months after the model crossed the 220,000-unit mark in cumulative deliveries on February 27, underscoring the vehicle's strong market momentum.

Hitting the market in April 2024, the Li L6 is the most compact and affordable offering in Li Auto's product lineup. Available in two variants—Pro and Max—the L6 comes standard with an all-wheel-drive system and is priced between 249,800 yuan and 279,800 yuan.

Since its debut, the Li L6 has rapidly emerged as one of the company's best-selling models. Notably, it set a new record among China's emerging new energy vehicle brands by surpassing 100,000-unit deliveries within just five months upon its market launch, as of September 19 the same year.

Visually, the L6 follows Li Auto's family design language, closely resembling the larger L7. It features full-width LED lighting strip both front and rear, flush door handles, and a sleek profile. Measuring 4,925 mm in length, 1,960 mm in width, and 1,735 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,920 mm, the L6 is slightly more compact than the L7.

Inside, the L6 boasts a dual-screen setup powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8295P chip. Standard features include dual wireless charging pads, an 8.8-liter onboard refrigerator, ventilated and heated front seats with 10-point massage, a CN95-grade air filter with antibacterial and anti-mildew properties, a panoramic sunroof, and nine airbags.

Powering the Li L6 is a range-extended hybrid system, which pairs a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with front and rear electric motors for intelligent all-wheel drive. The engine delivers a peak output of 113 kW and is complemented by a 35.8 kWh battery pack, enabling a battery-powered range of 172 kilometers. Both battery variants use lithium iron phosphate cells, sourced from Sunwoda and CATL.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
