Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On April 3, Chinese lithium battery supplier EVE Energy Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Shenzhen S.F. Taisen Holdings (Group) Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of logistics giant S.F. Holding Co., Ltd. ("SF"), according to a press release of EVE Energy.

The partnership aims to integrate advanced lithium battery technology into modern logistics systems, with a focus on four key areas: global supply chains, green transformation, smart logistics upgrades, and emerging application scenarios.

Under the agreement, EVE Energy will leverage its robust R&D capabilities and all-scenario lithium battery platform to support SF's electrification initiatives, including new energy delivery vehicles, battery solutions for two- and three-wheelers, and the development of zero-carbon logistics parks. In return, SF will provide end-to-end logistics support for EVE Energy, including domestic and international warehousing and distribution, cross-border exports, transportation of lithium battery products, and recycling of used batteries—further boosting EVE Energy's global expansion.

The partnership will also tackle the logistics sector's longstanding challenge of balancing delivery speed with energy consumption. The two companies will co-develop high-rate power batteries tailored for logistics use, expediting the electrification of last-mile delivery fleets. In the low-altitude economy, they plan to explore commercial battery applications for drones and electric airships. Additionally, they will work together to build smart logistics systems in industrial parks, enabling end-to-end visibility and improved scheduling efficiency across production and supply chains.

A key highlight of the collaboration includes the joint development of a flagship zero-carbon industrial park project featuring integrated solutions that involve solar, energy storage, and new energy vehicle charging. The model aims to serve as a scalable blueprint for green transformation across the logistics industry.

EVE Energy stated that the partnership represents a new paradigm of deep integration between the new energy vehicle and logistics sectors. With both companies committed to driving change through innovation, the collaboration is expected to set a benchmark for intelligent logistics transformation and contribute meaningfully to the global push for decarbonization and sustainable development.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
