Inner Mongolia Huomei Hongjun's 350,000 mt Green Power Aluminum Project Nears Civil Work Completion

The 350,000 mt green power aluminum project of Inner Mongolia Huomei Hongjun Aluminum & Power Company in Zhalainuoer is expected to complete all civil engineering work by early July, laying the foundation for installation work and commencing handover and safety procedures. In H2, starting from July, the project will focus on equipment installation and commissioning to ensure the expected commissioning by December 20, 2025. The project has a construction scale of 350,000 mt of aluminum per year, utilizing 500 kA series prebaked anode electrolytic cells and supporting technologies. The main construction includes 264 electrolytic cells, an anode assembly system, a flue gas purification system, a 220kV power distribution device, and a rectification system. The project is also equipped with a 650,000 kW wind power facility, a 100,000 kW 2-hour electrochemical ESS, and a 38 km 220 kV transmission and transformation project.
