According to SMM data, the operating rate in the brass billet industry this week was 60.67%, up 3.91% WoW. It is understood that production at enterprises is still mainly focused on digesting previous orders, and the stocking demand from downstream before the Qingming Festival did not release as expected, with limited new orders. In addition, the continued tight supply of raw materials may constrain capacity release. SMM expects limited upside room for the operating rate next week, with the market maintaining a tight supply-demand balance.
