The 40,000 mt Lithium Battery Recycling Project Commences Construction. Recently, the comprehensive utilisation and zero-carbon resource recycling industrial park project of Gansu Chenyue Yuchen New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 600 million yuan and an annual processing capacity of 40,000 mt of scrap lithium batteries, officially commenced construction in the Tumen Industrial Park, marking a crucial step in the construction of the new energy and new materials industry cluster in Gulang County. The project covers an area of 57,000 m² and is expected to be completed and put into operation by December 2025. The project integrates cascade utilization of lithium batteries, material recycling, and energy storage system integration. Upon full production, it will be capable of processing 40,000 mt of end-of-life batteries annually.
