Beijing (Gasgoo)- Autonomous driving company UISEE and LiDAR maker Seyond have officially entered a strategic partnership to enhance autonomous vehicle applications, focusing initially on airport driverless buses and UiBox models, UISEE announced on April 3.

The collaboration aims to meet the core demands of L3-L4 autonomous vehicles for all-weather, all-time, and all-scenario operation, building an efficient ecosystem for smart mobility, logistics, and airport transportation.

As an autonomous driving solutions provider, UISEE has developed the U-Drive® intelligent driving system, integrating cutting-edge self-driving algorithms into high-performance automotive-grade domain controllers. The system includes a comprehensive sensor layout, a cloud-based connectivity solution, and a big data platform that enables continuous upgrades. UISEE also provides an expandable vehicle-cloud framework and robust operational services to address the challenges of diverse autonomous vehicle models and fragmented application scenarios.

As of March 2025, UISEE's accumulated autonomous driving distance has surpassed 5.4 million kilometers, with mature solutions deployed across smart city mobility, factory logistics, and airport transportation.

UISEE has selected Seyond's Robin W ultra-wide-angle LiDAR as the primary forward-facing sensor to accelerate the commercialization of autonomous driving. Robin W integrates near-zero blind spots, high resolution, and long-range detection to provide precise environmental perception data, enabling safer and more efficient route planning. The solution significantly enhances vehicle stability in extreme conditions such as nighttime, fog, and crowded environments, while also improving transport efficiency and reducing operational costs.
