On April 2, US President Trump announced the implementation of so-called "reciprocal tariffs" measures at the White House. The chart presented by Trump showed that the US imposed reciprocal tariffs of 34% on China, 20% on the EU, 10% on Brazil and the UK, 31% on Switzerland, 26% on India, 25% on South Korea, 24% on Japan, 32% on Indonesia, and 36% on Thailand. Several trading partners have already indicated that they will retaliate.
