This week, the price of cobalt chloride slightly increased.
Supply side, smelters were reluctant to sell at low prices due to concerns that raw material prices remained high, thus market quotations stayed at elevated levels. Demand side, the peak purchasing period for major buyers, Co3O4 manufacturers, had passed, and market activity decreased compared to the previous two weeks. However, some manufacturers, fearing further price increases or due to their own production needs, still made high-level transactions, pushing spot prices up slightly.
Next week, the price of cobalt chloride is expected to remain high.
