DEEPAL scores 86.7% YoY spike in March 2025 deliveries

On April 1, Changan Automobile's new energy vehicle (NEV) brand DEEPAL announced its March delivery figures, which came in at 24,371 units, marking an 86.7% year-on-year surge.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On April 1, Changan Automobile's new energy vehicle (NEV) brand DEEPAL announced its March delivery figures, which came in at 24,371 units, marking an 86.7% year-on-year surge and a 30% month-on-month jump.

Meanwhile, as to Changan Automobile's other NEV brands, NEVO recorded 15,274 units sold, and AVATR reported 10,475 units delivered in March. Changan Automobile's total NEV sales for March surpassed 80,000 units, reflecting a 48.9% year-on-year spike and a 101.8% soar from February.  

On the same day, DEEPAL CEO Deng Chenghao announced on social media that the DEEPAL S09 will officially hit the market in April. During the China EV100 Forum 2025 held on March 29, he revealed that the S09 is expected to be priced between 300,000 yuan and 350,000 yuan.

The S09 follows DEEPAL's "Symbiotic Aesthetics" design philosophy, featuring the brand's signature shark-nose front design for a dynamic stance. The front fascia includes blacked-out fog lamp areas and a large lower grille, enhancing the vehicle's width. A seamlessly integrated full-width LED light bar adds to its sleek appearance.  

In profile, the S09 features flush door handles and a floating roof. Measuring 5,205mm in length, 1,996mm in width, and 1,800mm in height, with a 3,105mm wheelbase, it adopts a six-seat layout.

Inside, the S09 utilizes a light-colored cabin with a floating central touchscreen and a passenger display. A front and rear mobile center console includes cup holders and a dual-function refrigerator, capable of cooling down to -6°C, as revealed by Deng Chenghao.
