Beijing (Gasgoo)- LiDAR company RoboSense recently announced a strategic partnership with robotics company CASBOT, to drive the development and application of embodied intelligence, with a focus on humanoid robots. The collaboration aims to accelerate the evolution of human-machine coexistence and industrialize next-generation intelligent robotics.

Under the partnership, RoboSense will leverage its expertise in vision sensors and operational solutions to enhance the perception and responsiveness of CASBOT's first full-scale bipedal humanoid robot, "CASBOT 01." Additionally, RoboSense will support the development of CASBOT's future humanoid models, facilitating their integration into various real-world applications.

CASBOT specializes in general-purpose humanoid robotics and embodied intelligence. Its debut product, "CASBOT 01," is designed as a versatile, brain-inspired intelligent robot with 52 degrees of freedom, a computing power of 550T, and a battery life exceeding four hours. The model is now being delivered, and CASBOT plans to release new bipedal and wheeled humanoid robots in 2025, expanding its presence in industrial manufacturing, commercial services, emergency response, and underground operations.

In 2025, RoboSense rolled out the new Active Camera series for robotic vision. The AC1 Active Camera integrates LiDAR, cameras, and IMU sensors, combining depth, color, and motion data with adaptable SDKs for humanoid robotics.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
