Shanghai (Gasgoo)- NIO Inc., a Chinese smart electric vehicle marker, has announced its delivery results for March and the first quarter of 2025. The company delivered 15,039 vehicles in March, marking a 26.7% year-over-year jump. This total includes 10,219 vehicles from its premium smart EV brand NIO and 4,820 from its family-oriented brand ONVO.

In the first quarter of 2025, NIO Inc. delivered 42,094 vehicles, reflecting a 40.1% spike compared to the same period last year. As of March 31, 2025, the company's cumulative deliveries reached 713,658 vehicles.

Additionally, NIO began deliveries of its flagship smart electric executive sedan, the ET9, in late March. Hitting the market at the NIO Day 2024, the ET9 debuts the Cedar intelligent system, including a new generation of perception hardware, a next-gen central computer, and the intelligent vehicle operating system "SkyOS". This system integrates NIO's first 5nm automotive-grade autonomous driving chip, the NX9031, combined with the SkyOS, to offer tight integration of computing power and algorithms, ensuring optimal safety and efficiency.

The ET9 also introduces the SkyRide intelligent chassis system, which combines steer-by-wire, rear-wheel steering, and fully active suspension into a single integrated system, making it the world's first fully steer-by-wire intelligent chassis. The system includes an innovative active suspension with each shock absorber integrating an independent electric hydraulic pump, enabling rapid responses within 1 millisecond and precise adjustments. The suspension system allows for significant height adjustments and can adjust torque 1,000 times per second, with independent control of all four wheels to meet diverse driving scenarios.
