The 100MW/400MWh Standalone ESS Project Officially Commenced Construction. On March 28, a new energy company initiated the construction of a 100MW/400MWh standalone ESS project located in Luntai County, Bayingolin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The total investment of the project is approximately 532 million yuan, and it is expected to be completed and operational by December this year. The project primarily involves the construction of a 100MW/400MWh ESS power station, including the energy storage system and step-up substation. It will utilize LFP battery packs to build 30 sets of 3.45MW/13.416MWh energy storage systems. Upon completion, the project is expected to consume over 120 million kWh of clean energy annually, contributing to the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions and accelerating the transition to a green economy in the county.
