Drilling at the Bondiali Gold Mine in the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire Encountered High-Grade Ore

Published: Apr 2, 2025 11:05

Aurum, a West African exploration company, discovered a thick, high-grade ore body through infill drilling at its Boundiali gold project in the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire.

An infill drill hole intersected 83 meters of ore with a gold grade of 4.9 grams per mt, and the true thickness is estimated to be 70-80% of the apparent thickness.

Currently, the Boundiali resource stands at 1.59 million ounces.

The company plans to complete 100,000 meters of drilling this year, with eight diamond rigs operating on-site.

Through this infill and step-out drilling, two resource updates are expected.

"After the completion of the 2025 drilling program, Aurum will report a resource exceeding 2 million ounces by the end of the year and advance the project's pre-feasibility study."
