【Sodium-Ion Battery Technology Achieves Major Breakthrough, May Become Price Balancer for Lithium Batteries in the Future】Recently, HiNa Battery Technology Co., Ltd. released the world's first sodium-ion battery commercial vehicle solution, marking a significant breakthrough in sodium-ion battery technology. According to calculations, a sodium-ion battery heavy-duty truck with a capacity of 226 kWh can consume at least 1.54 million kWh of green electricity over its life cycle. Due to limited lithium resources in China, which cannot simultaneously meet the demands of EVs and energy storage, coupled with rising raw material prices, sodium-ion batteries have become a key focus in R&D. Experts stated that once sodium-ion batteries achieve mass production, they will also play a balancing role in the development of lithium batteries in China.
