Beijing (Gasgoo)- On April 1, AVATR Technology, the premium new energy vehicle brand jointly backed by Changan Automobile, Huawei, and CATL, announced that its March sales reached 10,475 vehicles, more than doubling both year-on-year and month-on-month.

Meanwhile, the company has launched pre-sales for its fourth strategic model, the AVATR 06, a luxury sports sedan. Within just 26 hours, pre-orders for the model exceeded 20,117 units. The model is set for an official market launch in April, further driving AVATR’s sales growth. Additionally, the first batch of the AVATR 012 vehicle has also been delivered to customers.

Beyond sales performance, AVATR continues to push boundaries by blending world-class artistry with cutting-edge technology through its "0 Series." The AVATR 012, the second model in this series, was designed in collaboration with renowned designer Kim Jones, former artistic director at Dior and Fendi. The model integrates luxury craftsmanship with a high-fashion aesthetic, positioning itself as a unique premium vehicle.

AVATR is also accelerating its global expansion. On March 21, it showcased four models—the AVATR 11, AVATR 07, AVATR 12, and AVATR 12 Royal Theatre Edition—at Changan Automobile's European launch event, receiving positive feedback. In 2025, AVATR plans to expand its presence to 50 countries and regions worldwide.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
