EVA imports in February were 70,600 mt, down 19.50% YoY.

According to customs data, EVA imports in February reached 70,600 mt, up 17.58% MoM but down 19.50% YoY. Cumulative imports from January to December 2024 totaled 916,040 mt, a decrease of 34.21% YoY. In terms of regional imports in February, imports from South Korea were 35,340 mt (50.06%), from Taiwan, China 17,020 mt (24.11%), from Thailand 5,350 mt (7.58%), from the US 4,890 mt (6.92%), from Saudi Arabia 2,800 mt (3.96%), and from Japan 1,440 mt (2.04%). The main EVA suppliers in South Korea include Hanwha Total, LOTTE Chemical, and LG Chem. Imports in February increased by 13.98% MoM compared to January. The main EVA suppliers in Taiwan, China include Formosa Plastics and USI Corporation. Imports in February decreased by 5.78% MoM compared to November. The main EVA suppliers in Thailand include Dow, TPI, and TPC. Imports in December increased by 4.21% MoM compared to November.
