The Caixin China Manufacturing PMI rose to 51.2 in March, up by 0.4 percentage points from February, reaching the highest level since December 2024, indicating that manufacturing production and business activities continued to expand at a faster pace. According to the sub-indices of the Caixin China Manufacturing PMI, both supply and demand in the manufacturing sector maintained an expansion trend. The production index slightly increased within the expansion territory to its highest level in nearly four months, while the new orders index declined slightly but remained above the threshold.
