Beijing (Gasgoo)- Smart driving solution developer MINIEYE on Match 30 announced it secured a new nomination contract from a globally renowned Tier 1 supplier, becoming its designated provider of driver monitoring system (DMS) solutions for smart cockpits.

This marks an expansion of their collaboration from advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) to cockpit intelligence, reinforcing MINIEYE's technological strength and market competitiveness in international markets.

According to MINIEYE, the Tier 1 auto parts supplier, a key player in the global automotive supply chain with strong market influence across China, Europe, and beyond, has already established a solid partnership with MINIEYE in ADAS projects. Notably, at its 2023 Global Supplier Summit, MINIEYE was recognized as one of the top seven outstanding suppliers, highlighting its excellence in technology iteration, product reliability, and localized service capabilities.

MINIEYE is expanding globally through two key strategies: integrating its technology into export-bound models of Chinese automakers and directly partnering with international automakers and Tier 1 suppliers. This dual approach enables the company to align with global standards in both technical capabilities and quality systems, facilitating its transition into the international automotive market.

MINIEYE's solutions have already been integrated into various export-bound vehicle models, with expected deployments in the EU, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, India, South Korea, Dubai, Turkey, and other regions.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
