【Talent Shortage Exceeds One Million, NEV After-Sales Service Professionals Become "Hot Commodity"】
In recent years, the development of NEVs in China has entered the fast lane, but the difficulty of maintenance has also become increasingly prominent. The latest data shows that by the end of 2024, the national NEV ownership reached 31.4 million units, but there are less than 20,000 NEV maintenance enterprises, and the number of skilled personnel engaged in maintenance is less than 100,000. Buying a car is easy, but repairing it is difficult, which has become the core issue of NEV after-sales service. Liao Shaoping, president of the Shenzhen Automobile Maintenance Industry Association, stated: Shenzhen has more than 1.2 million NEVs, but the number of NEV practitioners holding technical certificates may be less than 2,000. Currently, the gap is very large, around 20,000 people.
