Apple Orders $1 Billion Worth of NVL72 Systems from Nvidia, Tariff Risks Loom

Published: Mar 28, 2025 14:13
Apple is reportedly placing an order with Nvidia for GB300 NVL72 systems worth approximately $1 billion, according to Loop Capital analyst Ananda Baruah in a client report on Monday. This order equates to about 250 servers, with each server priced between $3.7 million and $4 million. In pre-market trading on Tuesday, Nvidia's stock price fell by 1.1% to $120.13. The chip manufacturer does not seem to have entirely escaped the threat of semiconductor tariffs. Tariff risks may continue to impact the healthy demand for Nvidia's latest AI hardware.
