【SMM Analysis】Weekly Market Report on Lithium Hydroxide 3.24-3.27

This week, the price of lithium hydroxide maintained the previous slow decline trend. Demand side, some ternary cathode material plants, at the end of the current month/quarter period, took actions to negotiate orders and set prices for the new cycle, with moves to push down price discounts. Upstream lithium chemical plants, with strong cost support at present, showed a clear stance on standing firm on quotes for discounts and spot orders. Currently, there is little demand for large spot orders in the ternary cathode material sector, and the prices for some spot purchases continued to decline, driving the overall market prices downward. The expectation of slow demand growth, combined with the downward pull of lithium carbonate prices, will keep the lithium hydroxide price in its current slow decline trend.
