Beijing (Gasgoo)- During the Huawei China Partner Conference 2025, autonomous trucking tech company KargoBot, as a key partner in Huawei's vehicle-road-cloud collaboration initiative, participated in a seminar titled "Open Cooperation: Accelerating the Integration of Vehicle-Road-Cloud Technologies."

Dr. Wang Ke, AI R&D Director at KargoBot, shared insights on the practical application of L4 autonomous mixed intelligent convoy technology in trunk logistics, highlighting breakthroughs in both technological feasibility and commercial viability.

As a leading autonomous freight technology company, KargoBot focuses on vehicle-road-cloud integration for long-haul logistics. Its L4 mixed intelligent convoy technology, leveraging vehicle-to-vehicle communication, enhances perception beyond single-vehicle limitations. It enables millisecond-level data exchange, ensuring acceleration and braking synchronization within 100ms and maintaining inter-vehicle distances below 10 meters.

The convoy system reduces aerodynamic drag, cutting energy consumption by up to 10%, which translates to annual fuel savings of 100,000 yuan to 200,000 yuan per vehicle. Additionally, labor costs can be reduced by up to 80%, while minimizing human-related accident risks.

Committed to open collaboration, KargoBot has partnered with Huawei as part of its autonomous freight alliance for new energy vehicle logistics. The two companies are working closely to advance large-scale deployment of autonomous convoy solutions in trunk logistics, fostering the integration of vehicle-road-cloud technologies and setting a global benchmark for digital transformation in the emerging logistics industry.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
