SMM Analysis: Spot Price of Cobalt Sulphate Slightly Increased, Market Sentiment Remains Cautious

This week, the spot price of cobalt sulphate slightly increased. Supply side, upstream salt plants' quotations remained basically flat compared to last week and continued to stand firm on quotes, with some salt plants releasing small batches of cargo. The concentrated procurement by downstream enterprises has come to an end, and currently, inquiries and buying interest are relatively weak. The expected transaction price spread still exists, and market liquidity has not seen significant improvement. It is expected that the market may continue to fluctuate in a "weak balance" pattern in the short term, and the spot price is likely to fluctuate upward.
