According to the Shouguang Media Convergence Center, Shandong Moris Tech Co., Ltd (Moris Tech) has recently accelerated its layout in the new energy "track" by leveraging its industrial advantages. The company's annual 1,500 mt lithium metal project is expected to commence trial production soon.
Huang Wei, sales manager of Moris Tech's lithium metal project, stated, "The lithium metal project has a planned capacity of 1,500 mt/year, with the first phase construction capacity of 500 mt. The project, developed in collaboration with East China University of Science and Technology, features multiple innovations in engineering design, achieving full-process automation. The project's technology fills a domestic gap and reaches international leading levels."
Huang Wei mentioned that the entire project construction of Moris Tech has been completed, and the company is currently handling the trial production procedures, which are expected to be completed by the end of this month. The project is set to commence production in Q2, and upon its launch, the sales revenue is projected to increase by 300 million yuan, accounting for approximately 30% of the company's total revenue.
Data shows that since 2008, Moris Tech has been deeply involved in the metal sodium field, building an annual 15,000 mt metal sodium workshop with advanced technology, stably producing 99.8% high-purity sodium and nuclear-grade sodium products through DC electrolysis of molten salt. Based on strategic upgrade needs and industrial structure optimization requirements, the company relocated its original metal sodium project, utilizing existing equipment and technology to transform and adjust its industrial structure, strongly entering the new energy sector.
