Datong Unveils Measures to Accelerate NECV Ecosystem Construction

【Datong: Accelerating the Construction of Interoperable and Interchangeable Ecosystem for New Energy Commercial Vehicles】On March 21, the People's Government of Datong City issued the "Several Measures for Further Accelerating the Construction of an Interoperable and Interchangeable Ecosystem for New Energy Commercial Vehicles," which will be implemented from April 12, 2025, with a validity period of two years. The measures provide rewards and subsidies for the production, consumption, and station construction of new energy commercial vehicles. For example, new energy commercial vehicle manufacturers that obtain the "Announcement of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products" from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will receive a one-time new product development reward of 5 million yuan. New energy swap-electric heavy-duty trucks connected to the "Datong Green Transportation Supervision Platform" will receive a one-time purchase reward of 12,000 yuan per vehicle. New energy swap-electric heavy-duty truck swap stations newly put into use will receive a reward of 300,000 yuan, among others.
