Recently, the Beijing Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau and six other departments jointly issued the "Implementation Rules for Promoting the Scrappage and Renewal of Old Trucks and Medium and Large Buses with China IV and Below Emission Standards in Beijing" (hereinafter referred to as the "Rules"), encouraging the scrappage and renewal of old trucks and medium and large buses with China IV and below emission standards in the city. Depending on the type of vehicle scrapped and renewed, subsidies ranging from 6,000 yuan to 170,000 yuan can be applied for.
The objects of subsidies under these implementation rules include: owners of old trucks or medium and large buses with China IV and below emission standards who scrap and renew them as new energy vehicles. Owners who only scrap old trucks with China IV emission standards. Businesses that only purchase new energy cold chain trucks.
Among them, "old trucks or medium and large buses with China IV and below emission standards" refer to diesel trucks registered in Beijing with an ex-factory date or initial registration date between July 1, 2013, and July 31, 2015, as well as medium and large diesel passenger vehicles registered in Beijing with an ex-factory date or initial registration date between January 1, 2006, and July 31, 2015.
"New energy vehicles" refer to pure electric and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles purchased from Beijing auto sales enterprises and issued with the city's "Uniform Invoice for Motor Vehicle Sales."
"New energy cold chain trucks" refer to pure electric and hydrogen fuel cell cold chain trucks purchased from Beijing auto sales enterprises and issued with the city's "Uniform Invoice for Motor Vehicle Sales" by road freight businesses that have obtained road transport operation permits in Beijing and have had the "refrigeration and preservation" business scope before the release date of the "Rules" (excluding the release date).
