Leading Resource Transformation
Founded in Norway in 1972, TOMRA specializes in sorting technology, with its equipment widely used in resource recovery, food, and mining industries across more than 100 countries and regions, with a total of 105,000 installations. The group is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange, with over 5,400 employees globally.
TOMRA's sorting technology and equipment can efficiently replace manual sorting, selecting high-purity recycled materials from various mixed solid waste, comparable to virgin materials, promoting high-quality resource circulation. In China, TOMRA has helped over 160 resource recovery companies upgrade their industries, effectively alleviating resource crises and promoting the development of a circular economy.
Among these, TOMRA's dynamic laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) technology can accurately sort 5xxx and 6xxx series aluminum alloys, as well as mixed aluminum alloys and stainless steel by series and grade, ensuring high-quality re-melting of scrap metals.
TOMRA X-ray sorters can efficiently and precisely remove light metals, light substances, zinc, iron, copper, stainless steel, and iron-clad aluminum from aluminum scrap, achieving a purity of over 99% after sorting, meeting smelting standards.
In addition, TOMRA sorters can efficiently separate mixed purple copper, brass, zinc, aluminum, wires, and circuit boards into single, high-purity metals, realizing the resource utilization of waste.
Corporate Development Journey:
In 1972, TOMRA was founded in Norway, embarking on a journey of resource transformation.
