CATL Luoyang Project Phases Three and Four Commence Construction

[CATL Henan Luoyang Project Commences] On March 21, during the major project centralized commencement and completion activities held in Luoyang and across the province, phases three and four of the CATL Luoyang base officially began construction in Yibin District, Luoyang. This project is a new energy battery production site built to "lighthouse factory" standards by Luoyang in collaboration with CATL. It is also one of the thirteen major production sites that CATL has laid out globally. The total investment for the CATL Luoyang base is 32 billion yuan, divided into four phases. Phase one commenced operations in December 2024, and phase two is expected to start operations this June; the newly commenced phases three and four have a total investment of 18 billion yuan, with an annual planned investment of 5 billion yuan, and are scheduled to be completed and put into use by the end of October 2026.
