Beijing (Gasgoo)- In March, ultra-long-range image-grade LiDAR company Seyond and commercial vehicle autonomous driving specialist Inceptio Technology announced an expansion of their strategic partnership. Based on the success of previous collaborations, the two companies will jointly develop and mass-produce next-generation intelligent driving systems, Seyond announced on WeChat on March 21.
This partnership will leverage Seyond's automotive-grade Falcon LiDAR technology alongside Inceptio's proprietary full-stack autonomous driving solutions to accelerate the large-scale commercialization of smart trucking in long-haul logistics, setting new industry standards for safety and efficiency.
The companies have already validated their intelligent trucking system—equipped with Seyond's LiDAR—through over one billion kilometers of real-world operation in the logistics sector.
Seyond has further customized its Falcon LiDAR platform to enhance perception redundancy and adaptability to complex driving scenarios. With a 500-meter detection range, centimeter-level accuracy, and all-weather stability, the upgraded LiDAR system strengthens Inceptio's capability to handle challenges such as highway lane changes, nighttime driving, and adverse weather conditions in long-haul freight transport.
