General Administration of Customs: China's January Copper Scrap Imports Down 13% MoM Detailed Data Overview

Customs online query platform data showed that China's January 2025 copper scrap (copper scrap and shredded copper scrap) imports were 189,158.82 mt, down 13.01% MoM and up 1.54% YoY. The US was the largest supplier, with 39,372.51 mt of copper scrap (copper scrap and shredded copper scrap) imported from the US in that month, down 10.27% MoM and up 17.66% YoY. Thailand was the second-largest supplier, with 16,226.49 mt of copper scrap (copper scrap and shredded copper scrap) imported from Thailand, down 6.34% MoM and up 10.27% YoY.
