Recently, the Commodity Inspection and Testing Branch of Guangdong Liyuan Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Guangdong Petroleum, obtained CMA certification (China Metrology Accreditation), becoming the first entity among sales enterprises to possess full-item analysis and testing qualifications for hydrogen used in proton exchange membrane fuel cell vehicles. Guangdong Petroleum has accelerated its efforts in hydrogen detection technology, relying on Sinopec's "Ten Dragons" science and technology project. In collaboration with the Research Institute of Petroleum Processing, it completed the construction of the first full-item testing demonstration laboratory for vehicle fuel hydrogen in South China in December 2022. At the beginning of this year, the laboratory successfully passed the on-site review by the Guangdong Provincial Market Supervision Administration. Guangdong Petroleum is speeding up the establishment of a dual-wheel drive model of "detection services + R&D," aiming to build a testing service platform based in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and radiating nationwide, integrating hydrogen detection, safety assessment, and more, to support the development of the hydrogen industry chain and enhance the company's innovation and efficiency levels.
