US Treasury Secretary Announces April 2 Tariff Codes Effective Date, Asserts Economic Health

US Treasury Secretary Besent stated that the "tariff codes" for trade restriction measures in various countries will officially take effect on April 2. Fifteen percent of the countries will account for the majority of the tariffs imposed. He also stated that the US's fundamental economic condition is "healthy," with no reason to fall into a recession.
