






SMM Steel, March 18 - According to SMM statistics, the estimated total shipments of mainstream market resources this week reached 203,200 mt, down 115,900 mt WoW. By market:

Shanghai Market: Shipments to the Shanghai market declined WoW this week. Specifically, shipments of mainstream resources from north-east China, north China, and south China all decreased, while shipments to east China remained stable. Looking ahead, mainstream steel mills in south China are currently in maintenance cycles, coupled with production adjustments for specific products. It is expected that shipments to Shanghai will decrease in mid-to-late March, while shipments from northern regions may rebound next week.

Lecong Market: Shipments to the Lecong market also decreased WoW this week. Specifically, resources from north China remained stable, while shipments of local mainstream resources were slightly disrupted, leading to an overall decline in arrivals. Looking ahead, WG's rolling line will remain under maintenance next week, further slowing shipment pace. Arrivals in the Lecong market are expected to remain at low levels next week.
