Beijing (Gasgoo)- On March 14, a China-Europe freight train (Wuhan) "Dongfeng" special train, fully loaded with Dongfeng Motor's VOYAH-branded vehicles, departed from Wuhan, the capital city of Hubei Province, embarking on an 8,909-kilometer westbound journey to Moscow.

The first 'Dongfeng' train carries 96 VOYAH vehicles and is expected to reach Moscow in 18 days, further supporting VOYAH's expansion into the European market.

Since initiating its global expansion in 2022, VOYAH has entered over ten countries, including Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, and Italy, while accelerating its presence in Central Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America.

As a key logistics corridor linking Hubei Province with countries along the Belt and Road Initiative, the China-Europe freight train (Wuhan) plays a crucial role in facilitating trade between Asia and Europe. The "Dongfeng" train, a customized service for Dongfeng Motor, aims to lower overall logistics costs and enhance the efficiency of vehicle exports, accelerating the international reach of automobiles produced in Wuhan's "Auto Valley."

During the departure event, Hubei Port Group and China Dongfeng Motor Industry Import and Export Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement to strengthen collaboration in logistics, multimodal transport, and supply chain solutions, further advancing Dongfeng Motor’s global expansion.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
