Union Co., Ltd. announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Jiangsu Union Composite Current Collector Co., Ltd., has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with a renowned automotive company research institute. Jiangsu Union is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D, production, and sales of composite aluminum foil and composite copper foil for lithium power batteries in NEVs. Through this strategic cooperation, the two parties are expected to jointly develop integrated new-type composite current collector materials in the field of next-generation battery technology. Jiangsu Union plans to supply integrated new-type composite current collector materials to the research institute within one year after the contract is signed. Meanwhile, the research institute will regard Jiangsu Union as an important partner and preferentially select Jiangsu Union's integrated new-type composite current collector materials.
