USA Rare Earth (USARE) made its debut on the Nasdaq on Friday, trading under the ticker symbol "USAR." The company continues its operations at the Round Top rare earth mine in western Texas, aiming to establish a domestic rare earth supply chain in the US. USARE holds the mining rights to the Round Top rare earth mine, which is reported to contain 15 rare earth elements, including abundant resources of the medium-heavy rare earth elements dysprosium and terbium among the 17 rare earth elements, as well as being rich in gallium and beryllium. USARE has previously stated its goal of producing half of the critical minerals listed in the revised critical minerals list by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), which are essential to the US's defense and economic security. The company's initial public offering coincides with its agreement with Pivot Acquisition Group just one day earlier, aiming to build one of the largest magnet production facilities in North America.
