【China Resources New Energy IPO! Over 3GW/9.47GWh ESS Procurement in 2024!】 On the evening of March 16, China Resources Power announced that the application for the spin-off listing of China Resources New Energy on the main board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (A-shares) had been accepted, marking the first IPO on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange this year. According to the prospectus, China Resources New Energy plans to raise 24.5 billion yuan to fund the construction of 7.175GW wind and PV projects, with a total project investment of 40.422 billion yuan.
China Resources New Energy is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Resources Power, primarily engaged in the investment, development, operation, and management of wind and PV power plants. The main procurement of China Resources New Energy includes wind power and solar power generation equipment, as well as related construction and services required during the construction process. As of the end of September 2024, China Resources New Energy had 509 subsidiaries and 41 associate companies, with its main assets spanning 30 provinces (including autonomous regions, municipalities, and special administrative regions) in China. Its grid-connected installed capacity under control reached 28.2069 million kW, accounting for 2.25% of the national market share, including 21.5664 million kW from wind power projects and 6.6405 million kW from solar power projects.
