YTMicro, IHR Shanghai form strategic partnership in intelligent vehicle software field

On March 12, Jiangsu Yuntu Microelectronics Co., Ltd. (YTMicro) and IHR (Shanghai) Automotive Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. (IHR Shanghai) officially established a strategic partnership.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On March 12, Jiangsu Yuntu Microelectronics Co., Ltd. (YTMicro) and IHR (Shanghai) Automotive Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. (IHR Shanghai) officially established a strategic partnership. The collaboration focuses on the intelligent vehicle software ecosystem, designating each other as ecosystem partners.

Through technological integration and ecosystem development, both companies aim to provide more efficient and secure solutions, accelerating the advancement of intelligent vehicles in China.  

The partnership will involve cooperation in areas such as compliance testing, embedded software development, brand influence, and global market expansion. Based on YTMicro's YTM32 series automotive-grade MCU chips, IHR Shanghai will offer fundamental software development services, including CAN/CAN FD/LIN drivers, UDS diagnostics, network management (NM), and bootloader solutions. These efforts will help deliver globally compliant ECU software solutions for applications in automotive lighting, body electronics, and chassis-by-wire systems.  

Founded in July 2020, YTMicro specializes in high-end automotive-grade MCU and HPU chip development. The company has established a comprehensive product lineup combining general-purpose MCUs and application-specific SoCs, covering 90% of applications across five major automotive domains: body, cockpit, chassis, powertrain, and autonomous driving. Its general-purpose MCU products have been adopted by major automakers such as GAC Group, Chery, SAIC Motor, Geely, and Leapmotor, with cumulative shipments exceeding 10 million units.
